About This Show
SIN PADRE invites us to the altar of cooking where Arturo, heavy with the weight of his brother’s untimely death, hurriedly prepares his Nonno’s infamous tomato sauce. While the sauce simmers, the men of his life show up one-by-one stirring up painful memories that leave him struggling to make it to the finish line. This hearty tale is one man’s tumultuous journey with masculinity, gender, suicide, queerness, and the intricacies of inherited fatherhood.
Covid-19 Safety Protocol: Patrons must be masked at all times while in the theater. Performers will be maskless. Proof of vaccination not required.
Accessibility: Please note that entrance to the theater requires a 17-step walkup, with additional steps inside the theater leading to the seating area and bathroom. Accessible seating available upon request. Please email boxoffice@rattlestick.org at least 24 hours before your arrival to the theater.
The run time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Your ticket(s) will be available at the box office under your name 20 minutes prior to showtime. Seating is general admission.
