Her sound and approach place her somewhere in the intriguing area between jazz and that aspect of pop music that draws its material from the Great American Songbook. In the San Francisco Bay Area, Shaynee played at nightspots such as The Empire Plush Room, Jazz at Pearl’s, The Purple Onion, The Cosmopolitan and Club Jazz Nouveau. Taking her show on the road, she has performed in London at Pizza on the Park, Los Angeles at the former Feinstein’s at the Cinegrill, and in New Orleans at Le Chat Noir.
