Peter Yawitz writes songs that recall Allan Sherman’s and Tom Lehrer’s – topical, urban and hysterically funny. Few other performers capture so well the pride and neuroses of a 40-ish husband, father, and professional guy, who tries desperately to say the right thing, fit in, to prove that he’s smart, and to remain with it.
