Before opera found her, Metropolitan Opera star Patricia Racette found her earliest voice singing cabaret. Now, Racette brings her career full circle with an intimate evening featuring songs by Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Edith Piaf (all brilliantly captured on her brand new recording of the same name). Widely acclaimed as one of opera’s leading sopranos, Racette has appeared around the world in operas ranging from Don Giovanni and Carmen to Madame Butterfly and Tosca, in the world’s most prestigious venues, including La Scala, New York City Opera and San Francisco Opera, among many others.
