Rosie's Theater Kids (RTKids) is a nonprofit arts education organization founded by Rosie O'Donnell. Dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the arts, it serves students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience theater. The organization positively changes the trajectory of their lives by providing comprehensive classes in music, dance, and drama; thoughtful mentoring; and structured academic guidance. Over 80 percent of RTKids students come from underserved backgrounds.
Passing It On is RTKids's annual spring benefit showcase, featuring performances by the program's students and their professional mentors. This year's show features a tribute to what would have been Jerome Robbins's 100th birthday and a performance by Quentin Earl Darrington (Once on This Island).
