About This Show

Edgar Allan Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher comes to new life in this New York premiere musical adaptation.  The House of Usher is home to the dark secrets of the dying family inside its walls.  The only remnants of the Usher clan are James Cleary’s childhood love Madeline Usher and her twin brother Roderick, both of whom suffer from a mysterious illness.  After a long absence, James returns to the house, only to discover a sinister vein running through the Usher line.  His discovery rocks the house to its very foundation and makes for a spectacular fall.Written and first performed at Yale, Usher is being presented at the New York International Fringe Festival by Yale students and graduates.
