About This Show

Actor Dan Lauria – star of TV’s Wonder Years and the current Off-Broadway hit Ears on a Beatle – hosts a new Tuesday afternoon play series that is free and open to the public. The series will feature Lauria, Debra Monk and other actors of note in readings of new works.

Tuesday, May 25th – The Classic by Richie Veteri with Debra Monk (Tony Award® Winner for Redwood Curtain), Ray Abruzzo (The Sopranos), Andrea Mullella, and Paul Ben Victor (The Wire). Directed by Bob Kalfin.

Tuesday, June 1st – The Color of Flesh by Joel Gross based on a true story about Marie Antoinette and her friend – and painter – Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun; and the lover they share – the radical aristocrat Count Alexis De Ligne. Directed by Bob Kalfin.

Tuesday, June 8th – Adult Fiction by Brian Mori with Dan Lauria. Set in the summer of 1979, where in the harsh glare of Times Square two men – the middle-aged manager of an adult bookstore and a naïve young loner – develop an unlikely friendship. Directed by Lawrence Harbison.

Tuesday, June 15th – Mandelstam by Don Nigro with Dan Lauria and Dana Benningfield. Directed by Lawrence Harbison.

Tuesday, June 22nd – The Bachelor Party by Steve Zuckerman.
