Three Days of Rain
$15.00; 9/4 pay-what-you-can
Richard Greenberg’s Three Days of Rain is a play about secrets and mistruths between two generations. The grown children of Theo Wexler and Ned and Lina Janeway meet in 1995 in an abandoned apartment once used by their famous architect fathers in downtown Manhattan. They are about to receive their legacy: a house designed by the now-deceased Ned and Theo that has been deemed “one of the great private residences of the twentieth century”.
Act II takes us back 35 years to 1960 and we see the parents, at the same age as their children in Act I, on the brink of success, the house not yet designed. Watching them, we realize that things are not always as simple as our parents lead us to believe. Directed by Daniel Marmion.
