This Speaks To Me

This Speaks To Me is a two-day workshop that explores both product and process. It is laboratory for performative experimentation and a forum for communal exchange around how artists share their stories in contemporary performance; inviting emerging theater & movement artists or those who are simply interested in gaining insight into an artist’s process. Participants get the chance to experience and “try-out” techniques employed by the Studies N Black artists: voice, blind writing, movement work, “she-ism,” out spoken exclamations and much more.
