About This Show

A business flight crashes into a remote island, leaving the survivors struggling to meet fourth-quarter earning projections. So begins This Isn’t Working a collection of five short comedies about serious job dissatisfaction. In these plays, a motivational speaker tries to inspire the damned; a writer loses creative control of his life; two coworkers can’t stop saying enough nicely-worded things about each other; and three Neanderthals look back on a poor business model. Each play focuses on people defined by their careers but still looking for meaning in their lives…or just an excuse to ditch it all for teaching.

Written by nationally syndicated cartoonist Francesco Marciuliano (“Sally Forth,” “Medium Large,” Drink at Work.com), This Isn’t Working is about the ideas we don’t share in brainstorming sessions, the goals we don’t discuss in year-end reviews and the people we don’t ever want to see outside of the office. Presented by Rule of 3. Jefferson Jowdy directs. Featuring Live Music by The King of France.
