Wings Theatre & the Writers’ Stage present a new musical They All Knew, by Robert Mitchell. This musical is about family, friends and deception among them. It is the journey of the main character, Peter Hunter, to find himself that is triggered when he discovers a family secret. Featured in the cast are Adam MacDonald and David Tillistrand. Judith Fredericks is the director and Paul T. Johnson is the Musical Director.

Author, Robert Mitchell is responsible for the book, music, and lyrics. Mitchell won the OOBR Award for Best Musical in 2003/2004 for his theatrical production of Vincent, based on the life of van Gogh. Vincent received rave reviews from The New York Times and The New Yorker. In addition, Mitchell has written Rappiccini’s Daughter produced at Musical TheatreWorks in California, Whole Theatre Co. in Montclair, New Jersey, and at Wings. Mitchell has also written scores for films, including But Only For A Day — a PBS documentary, Southern Heart — a full length feature that premiered at the Tribeca Film Center and In South Africa — a documentary filmed in Africa. Mitchell also wrote the score for the Chicago Ballet Company’s Latin-jazz arrangement of The Carmen Ballet.
