The Substance of John, AP Book V: Jack Kerouac

Boomerang Theatre Company presents the world premiere of The Substance of John, AP Book V: Jack Kerouac. Written by Francis Kuzler and directed by Cailín Heffernan, this drama takes a look at the life of writer Jack Kerouac as it examines an America of definition, labels and destruction. The story is told both forwards and backwards as two Jack Kerouacs meet, one at the beginning of his road, the other nearing the end of his, with both of them on an endless quest to find peace, fulfillment and a world without demons. Performed in repertory with The Hot Month and Keely and Du.
