About the Show

the box theatre, a newly merged company formed by Tracy Baker and Nancy Chu, is in search of a new definition of the American theatrical cannon. Their debut production, The Lover by Harold Pinter, is a comic and absurdist look at marriage and infidelity. An openly cheating husband and wife take on surprising lovers as the routine of married life sets in. The show explores modern unions and how couples choose to continue their lives together while overcoming the obstacle of comfort and familiarity. This production is part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival.
