The Jedi Macbeth

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…that vaguely resembles the 11th century Scottish highlands…the honored and respected Jedi Macbeth begins to feel the first temptations of the Dark Side of the Force. Spurred on by prophecy and greatness and the will of his master, Macbeth will stop at nothing in his quest for power. Can the Jedi Order stop him and bring balance to the Force, or will the Dark Side of the Sith prevail? Presented by the New York Jedi light saber stage combat troupe and directed by Melissa Koval, this original adaptation brings Shakespearean tragedy and scifi space opera together for the stage. All proceeds go to benefit the Concourse House Home for Women & Their Children.
