The Flood: A New Musical

About the Show

Prospect Theater Company remembers the 10th Anniversary of the Mississippi River Flood of 1993, the largest and most devastating flood in U.S. history with a one night only benefit concert reading of The Flood: A New Musical, by Peter Mills and Cara Reichel. The Flood made its New York City debut in the spring of 2001 at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center starring Tony Award nominee Gavin Creel in the original cast. Subsequently The Flood was selected by Stephen Schwartz for the 2001 ASCAP Musical Theater Workshop.

Benefactor “Flood Wall” Tickets (Show and Reception): $100 each, Patron “Levee” Tickets (Show and Reception): $50 each, Friend “Sandbagger” Tickets (Show Only, No Reception Included, Limited Amount Available): $25 each. Reception to follow at Caffe ShaSha (510 Hudson Street).
