As a group of pilgrims journeys to Canterbury to pay homage to Thomas Becket, they engage in a battle of wits to see who can tell the most entertaining story. This contest results in breathtaking narratives of glorious honor, salacious lust, unspeakable courage, relentless faith and hilarious ribaldry. Join Columbia’s 2009 M.F.A. Acting class as they fearlessly bring to life these timeless tales.

This new adaptation of Chaucer’s masterpiece showcases the entire 2009 M.F.A. Acting class, in a production that celebrates the culmination of their graduate training. The acting ensemble is Amanda Broomell, Ji Young Choi, Sanam Erfani, Rebecca Hirota, Kim Katzberg, James MacBean, Lauren Murphy, Adam Radford, Luc Radu, Casey Robinson, Josh Sauerman, Nadia Sepsenwol, Tom Slot, Steven Sun, Alison Weisgall, Patrick Yeoman and Jehan O. Young.
