New York City
The Book Bag by Christopher Colt is a post-Columbine look at the urban public school system. The play tells the tale of a teacher in an inner city high school who tries to help a student recover his stolen book bag. It is a heartfelt story of a teacher trying to cross cultural, racial, and educational boundaries in this pluralistic new century. J. C. Islander directs.
