The Blackout/El Apagon

Based on Jose Luis Gonzalez’s short story “The Night We Became People Again,” The Blackout/El Apagon is a musical comedy about two men trapped in a crowded subway on the night of a power outage in New York City. The theatre transforms into a wonderful world where a live juke box frames the play with popular songs from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. The show is presented in Spanish with simultaneous English translation.
