About This Show

Taxi Stories, written and performed by David O’Shea, is directed by Lee Costello. A hapless Ohioan moved to NYC and drove a taxi for 7-1/2 years learning how to hunt fares, survive rabid undercover cops, scam, and see beyond the surface of the city. Inspired by the methods of Spalding Gray, O’Shea takes us along on seven street-level encounters with parked cars, prostitutes, drunks, and grace itself as the city rolls under his wheels.

Part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival.
