Starmites 2001

Amas Musical Theatre in association with Jim Steinman and Mary Keil present the Tony-nominated sci-fi adventure by Barry Keating and Stuart Ross. Featuring an electrifying pop score, Starmites 2001 tells the story of Eleanor, a shy teenager who is mysteriously thrust into her favorite comic book. Awakening in Innerspace, she discovers that she is the legendary Milady, a teen superhero who must team up with the Starmites to save the Universe from the forces of evil. Standing in her way is a colorful assortment of Bowie-esque villains including the flamboyant Diva, the Queen of Innerspace and her Banshee Warriors–weird women with dangerous hairdos. With the help of the boyish heartthrob Spacepunk, Eleanor ultimately finds her strength within and defeats her foes.
