Square One

The Wide-Awake Theater Company presents Square One, a satiric and heart-warming romance set in a callous, post-apocalyptic world. Adam, a “certified General Entertainer with a specialty in singing,” seduces Diane with his voice, charm, and his very own one and a half bedroom apartment. But, in a time void of compassion and individual freedom, their love is naive, clumsy, and surprisingly funny. When tragedy erupts, Diane awakens to her real needs and makes the only choice a sympathetic person in a soulless world can make.
