NativeAliens Theatre Collective is proud to present its 9th Annual Short Stories playwrights’ festival during New York City’s Gay Pride Week. A celebration of the playwright, Short Stories 9 is a collection of 8 short plays from the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender perspective that will be performed together for a great evening of theatre. This year’s theme is Queer Prime so all plays are relevant to issues facing the gay community in their middle years (40’s & 50’s). This year’s plays are: How To Fall In Love With Ernest Borgnine by John Maley, Samaritan by Matthew Keville, Mother Christmas by Laura Black, Cutie Pie, And The Queen by Robin Rice Lichtig, One And One-Half Sandwiches by Chuck Zito, Serious by Corinne J. Kawecki, The Trouble With Brandon by Aaron Lee Adair, and Big Break by Ray Yeung.
