Acclaimed puppeteer and performance artist Hanne Tierney presents Oscar Wilde’s Salomé, the latest work from her “abstract theater without actors.” With her voice, 77 strings, and an improvised jazz score played live by saxophonist Sabir Mateen and bassist Jane Wong, Tierney tells the tragic tale of the princess whose desire for John the Baptist cost both of them their lives. Part of the Henson International Festival of Puppet Theater.
