About This Show

NOVISI Productions presents Eugène Ionesco’s Rhinoceros with a fresh new translation. Ghanaian-American Director Awoye Timpo directs a cast of ten actors and one trombonist in Ionesco’s timeless play of conformity, individuality, and transformation.

When a rhinoceros runs through a town square, the lives of the local villagers are shaken and forever transformed. Ionesco’s tragic-comedy presents the dualities of faith and proof, instinct and intuition, and, of course – absurdity and truth.
