New York City
thriftshop theatre workshop presents Red Cross and Action, by Sam Shepard.
In Red Cross, directed by Adam Stevens, Shepard’s accessible and mysterious characters are victims of a great contradiction. There is no escape when the inner self and the threatening world collide. Action, directed by Dan Deniro, deals with the isolation and survival of four renegades desperately holding on to their identities. They struggle with the image of what they represent and what they know to be themselves.
Additional performances: Sunday, 12/5 at 8pm, Saturday, 12/11 at 2pm.
