Reconstruction

Moving Target Productions presents the world premiere of Reconstruction, by Clifford Lee Johnson III, directed by Jamie Richards. Part of the New York International Fringe Festival. The play asks the question in our lives today: What do you do in the aftermath of devastation?

Ally and Ford passionately love each other. But when Ally is diagnosed with breast cancer and has to undergo mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation, their lives change. Especially hard hit is their sex life. Armed with Egyptian love oil and iced champagne, Ally and Ford set aside a night to resurrect their sexual relationship, stripping themselves physically and emotionally bare in the process and confronting naked truths about their marriage.
