Picasso at the Lapin Agile

The Sackett Group presents Picasso at the Lapin Agile, by Steve Martin. The hilarity ensues in this irreverent comedy about an imaginary meeting between Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein in a Parisian bar at the turn of the century. Laugh out loud as two noted men, each on the threshold of greatness and in the face of mediocrity, explore the impact of art and science on a rapidly changing society.

The Daily News called the play “consistently entertaining,” the New York Post said “…you get giggles a plenty and moments of enlightenment” and The New York Times called it “a very engaging shaggy dog of a comedy, with a mix of the sublime and the ridiculous.” The family-friendly play is directed by The Sackett Group’s Producing Director, Dov Lebowitz-Nowak.
