Perfection, written by downtown luminaries Neal Medlyn and Rachel Shukert, is the tale of Scott Waggles and Astrid, brother and sister orphans raising themselves in a boxcar in the woods, acting, singing, masturbating and dreaming of success on the Broadway stage. Along the way they encounter pregnancy, death, go their separate ways (partially portrayed by Christopher Lloyd), develop a peculiar sleepwalking disease recently profiled in the Sunday New York Times magazine, sing more songs, win awards and all those type things.
