New York City
Parade is the true story of Leo Frank, a man convicted of murdering a thirteen year old girl under his employ in Atlanta, Georgia. Frank, from Brooklyn, was the superintendent of the National Pencil Factory in Atlanta and was brought to trial for the murder on little more than the suspicion of the south toward “Yankee Jews.” Parade sings of the love between Frank and his wife, Lucille, as they battle for his life amongst the background of a community still looking for redemption for the Civil War, fifty one years earlier. Parade is directed by John Simpkins.NYU Students must bring their NYU ID for tickets priced at $10.00
