Creative Artists Laboratory wraps up the first part of their 2001/2002 season with two provocative comedies from the imaginative mind of Michael Folie. Other Worlds, directed by D.A.G. Burgos, features the following two one-acts:
In a limbo dimension reside the shades of earth celebrities in Jesus Christ vs. Godzilla. The phantoms of the famous, Albert Einstein, Amy Fisher, Godzilla, and, of course Jesus Christ. What would happen if a hole between the real world and the limbo dimension was opened and the ghosts of the famous could cross over to the real world? Would it result in the end of both realities?
Clone takes place in the future when the world is divided between the rich and the poor. For the rich anything will be possible, even extending their lives through the aid of science and machines. But what happens when even money and science can?t keep you alive any longer? You get a Clone.
