No Exit asks the question of just where do we go when we die and what is waiting us beyond the veil? In his Existenialist masterpiece Jean Paul Sartre re-envisions hell as a drawing room in which three people – Garcin, Inez, and Estelle – are damned to spend all eternity with each other. Throughout the course of the play, we discover more about the characters, and ultimately, how and why they are each other’s hellish torturers. In this new production, produced and directed by Rodney Hakim, Sartre’s characters and their relationships are explored in an updated take on his view of hell.
