About This Show

More then twenty Olympic caliber performers comprise the New Shanghai Circus, and are regarded internationally as the top troupe of acrobats in the People’s Republic of China. This year’s production, Mongolian Dream, includes feature entertainers from the northern Chinese city of Huhot, Inner Mongolia.

See a young man juggle a huge jar using just his back and shoulders and catch it on edge atop his head. Watch in disbelief as a young woman lies horizontally with no apparent support but the point of a sword placed against the back of her neck. Be amazed to see a graceful woman sliding into splits while delicately balancing three stacked trays of twenty-four crystal wine glasses and a vase of flowers – all of it – on her nose.
