Money Matters, curated by Sydney Skybetter, benefits the construction of a new space at 161 Chrystie street for Dixon Place. Having presented over 500 artists a year for 20 years, outgrown 3 different spaces and survived NYC’s real estate crisis–the need for a secure, permanent home is now. The unprecedented state-of-the-art laboratory theatre will bring stability to the organization and permanence to the special atmostphere of DP’s previous venues.Money Matters features Souloworks, Andrea E. Woods and dancers, Gerald Casel and Jessy Smith/POW. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the construction of the new space; additional donations outside of the ticket price are gratefully accepted.
