Nothing could be more romantic than finalizing your wedding
plans on the week of St. Valentine’s Day. For Tonya and Carter, however,
Minneapolis Bride is an unexpected hybrid of comedy and calamity, as she chooses her most recent ex-boyfriend, Guy, to be in their wedding, but as her maid of honor. Does the “ex” kiss the bride or does she kiss him goodbye? Loyalties are muddled. The conventions of love and relationships are challenged, and Tonya’s ultimate question of soul mate connection is answered on her wedding day, in this debut romantic-comedy play.
