Midwestern Gothic is written and performed by Adin Lenahan.This is a solo show about a young man named Nixon, who aged out of the foster care system in Illinois and is now engaged to a man with a mullet haircut whom he met on a train. Before he can marry, Nixon must return to the places of his youth to make peace with his past and break a promise to a vampire he once knew. This play is about how childhood plays itself out, parentless children, Marilyn Monroe and Jane Eyre.
