About This Show

Manhattan Bound is a full-length musical set on a NYC subway platform that will be written, scored, rehearsed and performed in 8 days. Conceived by Lawrence Feeney, producer and creator of theAtrainplays, Manhattan Bound will have two librettists and one lyricist/composer alternating writing and rehearsal days over six days creating the musical. As the pages and songs are completed the director and choreographer will be challenged with staging the show, while the performers will face the daunting task of getting off book, learning their songs as well as whatever movement and dance is required. And, on the 8th day, Manhattan Bound will be performed for a live audience for the first time.

Manhattan Bound will be written by librettists Michael Lazan and Erica Silberman, music and lyrics by Jeremy Schonfeld, choreographed by Tricia Brouk and directed by Gregory Simmons.
