The award-winning Judith Shakespeare Company presents “Shakespeare Unplugged” Concert Performances of Love’s Labors Lost, which features an original piano score, composed by renowned jazz artist Jeremy Wall. This story, perhaps Shakespeare’s most romantic comedy, tells the story of the King of Navarre and his court of three young men, who swear they will speak to no women during their three year “academy” study period. However, no sooner have they made their vow than the Princess of France and her court of three young women arrive on a diplomatic mission which cannot be avoided. Suddenly love is everywhere, as the young men try desperately to hide it from each other and maintain the impression that they have kept their oaths.
