Leakey’s Ladies

An exploration of Jane Goodall, Dian Fossey and Birute Galdikas’ and the apes they followed, loved and fought for. Three short plays have been commissioned and weaved together to highlight their struggles, achievements and relationships as they sought to understand and empathize with their primate cousins Innovative puppet design, original text and music and tiered staging create a landmark theater experience crafted by over 10 professional theater women.
