King Lear

The Waterloo Bridge Theatre Company presents King Lear.  Noted as one of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies, director Michael Hagins adds elements of comedy, swordplay, and breaking down the traditional fourth wall of theatre to bring this epic play to Brooklyn. The story of the
self-doubting king who divides his land among his three daughters rather
than letting things take their natural course, which brings about both
heartwarming reconciliations and heartbreaking tragedy, is as close to the
audience in the intimate space of the Waterloo Bridge Playhouse as ever, as
no seat is too far away and no place is a bad place.
