KidsClassics II explores the classical music experience for youngsters, from the science of sound to concert etiquette. The pre-concert activities excite their imagination and the ClassicTalk Program Guide, filled with games and puzzles, reinforces what they’ve learned.

Join The Choral! focuses on the voice as an instrument. Host Jim Blanton explains how sound is produced, the different ways that voices can be combined, and the many ways to enhance the melody. Highlights include the Goliard Singers performing as a barbershop quartet and even doing a little scat singing to Duke Ellington’s It Don’t Mean a Thing.

Meet the Orchestra! gives children a chance to hear a chamber orchestra perform selections from Mozart, Purcell, Scott Joplin and more. After the performance, everyone is invited to a festive party for refreshments.
