About This Show

Journey Theatre is a collaborative theatre piece that includes stories and performances from political refugees, victims of war trauma, and 9/11 impactees created by a grant from the McCormick Tribune Foundation. From West Africa, a region riddled with brutal civil war and rampant destruction of entire villages and killing fields, participants include William Akin, Lina Cousins, Jane Foster, and Jean-Paul Tuheu. The event is presented by Immigrants’ Theatre Project with Safe Horizon/Solace.
