Jen Abrams’ new piece, 2:55 am, peels back the facade of a New York City apartment building, to peer into the simultaneous lives of four city-dwellers, finding loneliness and conflict in private spaces. Jen Abrams studied Contact Improvisation for 12 years, and has been seen at HERE, La Mama, Dixon Place, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Bowery Poetry Club and WOW.
Filtered, by Jackie Moynahan, deals with the unpleasant/raw images media plays into our reality, allowing the audience to feel intrigued to look/judge and desensitize. Her company, JaxDance has been presented at various venues in NYC, California, Philadelphia and Massachusettes.
