About This Show

As she prepares for the Inaugural Ball on her first night in The White House, Jackie reflects upon her life thus far and whether she is ready to assume the role of First Lady. Learning her husband’s mistress was at the pre-inaugural gala the previous evening, she debates confronting JFK, struggling with her love for him and her duty as a wife and First Lady. Should she refuse to go or risk the humiliation of having her rival in attendance?

In her conversation with the mirror, she deftly skewers the lack of fashion of the Eisenhowers, chuckles at the cultural clashes between the Bouviers and Kennedys and mocks her child breeding in-laws – some of whom she secretly envies and admires.
