In the Heights

Set in Washington Heights, this musical showcases the sound of today’s northern Manhattan Hip-Hop, salsa, merengue and soul. On the two hottest nights of the summer, five lives are changed forever, fueled by the music of el barrio and driven by the momentum of their hearts. In the Heights explores the classic question: Can you go home again? This staged reading of In The Heights, by Lin Manuel-Miranda, is presented as part of the NYC Hip-Hop Theater Festival.
