If [or When] the Roof Falls In is a theatrical experience set in The Library, a space where you can reference any memory in human history. Surrounded by images of the past and possible futures, Ethan and Charlotte debate the value of memory; Charlotte clings desperately to the past, and Ethan can’t wait to let his go. Helped by a mischievous janitor and a whimsical intern, they must decide whether to save or destroy The Library, and with it, the institution of memory. There are no easy answers here.
