Hideous Exuberance, a one-person show written and performed by Steve Bird, is a deconstruction of “the West” in true spoiled brat American style. The piece juxtaposes looming environmental disaster, surreal celebrity parody, and festive homosexual ideology via spoken word, characters, and stubborn stream of consciousness rants.
