Gone with the Flatulence: A Clown Show

About the Show

The show is a satire in the tradition of Day of Absence that subverts the history of the ante-bellum south by placing the ‘Nigras’ on top and by using burlesque comedy to emphasize the absurdity and cruelty of man’s inhumanity to man.

Gone with the Flatulence: A Clown Show, by B.E. Brewster-Whitehead, is directed by Lady Bess Brewster. Lyricist and composer is Frankie Mayes.
