Gestures

Legendary electronic music composer Morton Subotnick presents his latest interactive music/video compositions, Gestures. Performed with a computer monitor projected onto a large-scale screen, the show literally begins with the composer’s “gestured” input of a mouse into the computere. The vocabulary of sounds, texts, and graphics derived from this motion is then performed each night in a distinctly different version through “gestrued conducting.”
