Everybody’s Hero: The Jackie Robinson Story, by Jef Hooper, is a spirited biographical musical about Jackie Robinson, who helped break down color barriers in professional baseball when he signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers, becoming the first black man to play in the Major Leagues. He delighted fans of all backgrounds, and his story inspired millions and made him a national hero. From the acclaimed touring theater company Mad River Theater Works in Ohio, the production features music by Bob Lucas.
