About This Show

Entwine, an off-off Broadway production exploring the complications of growing up in love and long-term relationships, has been accepted to the Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York City. Layers of life – confusion, anguish and love – advance an explosive confrontation in which two long-time lovers break down their carefully constructed emotional barriers to finally approach the questions – “Who are we and what happened to all those love feelings?” After years of knowing nothing other than their relationship, Annie and Sam appear relieved to finally be free of each other, able to explore their own individuality. However, after Sam flies across the country to rekindle their once burning flame or to finally extinguish it, they reveal their internal struggle between who they are and who they are trying to be. Award-winning playwright Sean Michael Rice pens this struggle of two very different people exploring their conflicting needs for togetherness and individuality. Director Eileen Trilli brings a sensitive vision to the production while international cast Annie Keating, in the role of Annie, and Jeff Todesco, playing Sam, live out a raw exposure of love and pain on the stage.
